About Dr. Amin

Neha Amin, OD, FAAO, is an expert optometrist who’s provided comprehensive, high-quality eye care to generations of families in Phoenix since 1999. At Advanced Vision and Achievement Center, Dr. Amin specializes in revolutionary vision therapy techniques that rewire the brain’s visual centers and strengthen eye muscles to correct vision, enhance learning, and improve eye-hand coordination. In addition, Dr. Amin offers cutting-edge therapies to improve vision and brain function in men, women, and children who’ve suffered traumatic brain injury or stroke.  

Dr. Amin received a bachelor of science in biology and a minor in psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington, where she also graduated on the dean's list. She then earned her doctor of optometry from the University of Missouri School of Optometry in St. Louis.

Dr. Amin has received awards of achievement in the fields of contact lenses and vision therapy. In addition to being an active member of the Arizona Optometric Association, she’s also served as its president. In 2008, she was recognized as Young Optometrist of the Year.

Committed to the belief that men, women, and children across the globe should have access to high-quality vision care, Dr. Amin started volunteering her services in n 1997, when she traveled to El Salvador to provide optometric care and eyeglasses to hundreds of patients. She’s been chairman of the Diabetic Expo Committee and Walk for Diabetes, volunteers at Banner Concussion Center, and performs free annual eye exams for the athletes in Phoenix’s Special Olympics.

When she’s not helping patients, Dr. Amin loves spending time with husband and two sons. She and her family enjoy traveling, running, and playing basketball and other sports.
