Comprehensive Eye Exams
The American Optometric Association recommends a yearly eye exam - not only to detect and to diagnose vision changes or problems - but also to maintain the health of your eyes. An annual eye examination is your best defense against eye diseases. We examine the health of your eyes, inside and out, to carefully evaluate for such problems as cataracts, glaucoma, hypertension, diabetes, etc. In addition to eye health, acuity and the need for glasses or contacts, a comprehensive learning related vision evaluation is administered. This includes: eye movement, focusing from near to far and far to near, sustaining clear focus, the ability for the eyes to work together, depth perception, visual motor integration, form perception and visual memory.
